Multi-tone Musical alarm circuit
IC UM3481 is an 8 song Melody Generator IC designed for the purpose of Melody generation in various gadgets. It is widely used in Doorbells, Alarm systems, Reverse horns, Toys, Clocks, and Timers etc.
This circuit provides 8 tones. This multi-tone doorbell circuit produces 8 types of musical tone. You get twelve popular tones in sequences that give a new dimension to musical door-bells. Whenever a switch is pressed, a popular tone plays and refresh our mind. When the next time when the switch will press a new tone will be produced. Using the circuit we have prepared here 8 different tones can be heard in sequence. and then it the circuit is 8 tone doorbell alarm circuit.
This is a very simple project, it requires very few components and then it makes it an easy and simple but interesting project. Connects All components as given in the circuit diagram. 1.5v to 4.5v DC supply required for the operation of this multi-tone generator circuit.
This circuit is based on ic UM3481, Which is a 16 pin musical tone generator ic, and this circuit is implemented as 8 tone generator. The circuit of 8 tone doorbell starts operating when the switch SW 1 is pressed and then the tune is played. Music tones change on each press of the pushbutton switch.
