The TIP31A and TIP31C are popular silicon Epitaxial-Base general purpose NPN power transistor which has 3A (3000ma) maximum load current capacity to drive the load. TIP31C is a NPN epitaxial planar transistor, designed for using in general purpose amplifier and switching applications. This transistor used for a wide variety of Switching and Amplifier Applications, Series and Shunt Regulators, Driver and Output stages of Hi-Fi Audio Amplifiers. The complementary PNP types are TIP32A and TIP32C respectively. TIP32B is also a PNP type transistor.
